Join us at An Cuan on Saturday, October 25 for Jesus, Justice, and Gaza: A Palestinian Perspective with guest speaker Anton Deik. This one-day seminar (10:30am–3:30pm) will explore biblical themes of land and identity, and wrestle with questions of justice and hope in the midst of ongoing violence in Gaza. Through two lecture-style sessions, Anton will offer insight into “Promised Land and God’s Chosen People” (10:30–12:30) and “Hope in the Face of Genocide” (1:30–3:30). This event is free to attend with registration and space is limited. An Cuan Cafe will also be open selling lunch and baked goods from 12:30-1:30pm.
